    Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Fourth of July. Besides the barbeque's and day off work, remember what this day means to each and every one of us.

    My son is currently serving in the U.S. Navy. He is an AO (Aviation Ordinanceman) and is in Norfolk awaiting his tour assignment. He is attached to the Roosevelt and it is rumored his carrier group has been assigned to the Persian Gulf for the upcoming tour. Although he will be away from the action on the ground, his job is inherently dangerous. If any of you have a family member serving, you know the anxiety that goes with it.

    Just remember that this day represents the sacrifices others have made and will continue to make. If you happen across someone who is currently serving or has served in the past, simply tell them thank you.

    Okay, with that being said, eat lots o' BBQ, drink your drink of choice and, most importantly, RIDE YOUR BIKE!
