With only a few minutes remaining of this year, I'll say Happy New Year to everyone.... And hope you have a safe trip back home, if you're out celebrating.

    Hello Rob

Sorry to be a pest, but I recently signed-up with the XJbikes website, and I found your name when I searched for messages relating to the availability of valve shims in the UK. I'm in France. I own a 1994 Yamaha XJ900F (4BB), and having recently checked the valve clearances I need three ( x 3) .270 shims. I have one ( x 1) .265, and two ( x 2) .275 shims surplus to requirements. I'd be happy to swap, pool or purchase as appropriate. Obviously I'd rather not pay 10 GBP/shim ! Can you point me in the right direction ? Any help would be much appreciated. Thx.

    Steve
