    This year, it's not the same, so I especially want to send out best wishes to everyone and stay safe. We're doing a Zoom with my sisters and parents this afternoon and I hope to get a ride in since it's hitting the upper 50's

    Having been far away from family for several years now things won't be all that different for me. I will miss out on seeing my son, but a new Marine has to do what a new Marine has to do. Things aren't great in the world right now, but it will get better and that's worth giving thanks for.
