Harley Sportster Seat on Maxim

    I read the Harley sportster seat can replace the xj650 Maxim seat. Just wondering if anybody has done, cause I'm trying to streamline the look of my Maxim.

    OK I was able to get some pics, the seat slides under the piece of steel on the gastank bolt then it gets bolted in the back to the piece that's welded between the frame, I took pics and the screwdriver is pointing to the mounting brackets, I think they make two different sportster seats make sure it looks like mine the other one would not work for this setup, hope this helps
