Check with chacal and see what he has to offer. I got the stainless steel allen screw style and its great to drain the float bowls with a tee handle allen wrench.

well, i don't think it'll have effect on float level (provided it keeps the gas in the bowl) though i'm not sure if there are better alternatives...and i gotta tell you, i wouldn't pay $25 / screw for any type of screw either

yea thats what OEM costs and I would assume chacol would be similar price. as long as it wont messup float levels I cant see it leaking, I bought internal screws that have the same length as stock.

+1 on the allen head-in fact it's best to replace just about all
philips head with an allen for all reg maint screws.

Chacal's aftermarket allen head drain screws are longer than stock, and as a result are easier to get to while still on the bike. Unlike the set screw you linked to, these do have a head on them. The last price I had on them was $16... for the whole set of four. $5 if bought individually. HCP54SET4 is his part number for the package.
