I lowsided my bike going about 60mph in a turn, and besides cosmetics (signal, handlebars) the bike runs fine. However, my headlight no longer works - on either low or high beam.

I figure a connection came loose? Where do I check first - what are the likely culprits? The headlight housing received no visible damage in the crash.

I searched and didn't come up with a lot. Mechanical noob so be gentle!

Make sure the bulb works first. Hook up 12V to it and a ground and test both the high and low beams.

If the bulb works, then start working your way backwards from there........

P.S. You bike should have a "modular" headlight system, with a bulb that is removable from the glass lense. Make sure you do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers or get any contamination on it!
