I have narrowed down my problem to the headlight relay. How do I test to see if it is bad? I bought a digital multimeter just for troubleshooting this problem. It started when the headlight and auxilary light quit working on my 1982 XJ 750 Maxim. I have checked all the fuses and light bulbs and they all check okay. So my next step is to test the relay. Thanks for your help.
