While i had the tank off to weld the side stand back on i took the opportunity to run a power cable from the fuse box to the headlight. Was 10gauge bit of overkill but it's what i had. Fitted relays for hi and lo beam. already had a spare fuse and direct battery feed on the fuse box (fitted a 6way block). The result was amazing, from pale yellow glow to bright white light. If you ride at nite or early mornings i recommend the effort to fit relays before upgrading bulbs.

Knuts, have you fitted a 100/90 bulb, or are you still running the 60/55?

Still the original 55/60. next step will be a new globe, lots to offer on the market now, bigger, blue, white, brighter, brighter than bright..... not sure what to try.
