headlight swap

    i would like to switch my headlight out for a bottom mount chopper style headlight, but am not sure what to do with all the wiring, do any of you have any suggestions on where to put it all if i swap?

    Been there, done that. I just removed all the wires I felt I will never use (there's a bunch) Then labeled any left over wires (incase I decide to use them later) and tucked them under the tank. I first shrink wrapped them and secured them with wire ties to keep them from moving around.
    There seems to be way too many safety devices incorporated in these bikes that are useless to me (keep'm if your into that whole safety thing) so I elliminated alot of wires by getting rid of the safety relays.
    I only kept the nuetral light wires (for obvious reasons) turn signal indicator wires and high beam indicator wires. The rest were either eliminated or labeled and tucked away for future use if needed.
    I always felt the less wires you have, the less that can go wrong and it will also make things much easier to trouble shoot any electrical problems in the future. So far, I don't have any electrical issues anymore.
