Just wanted to drop an initial hello and introduce myself.

My names Phil. I'm the proud owner of an 81 XS400 which I love.

I just picked up an 85 FJ600. Bought it non-running. I cleaned out the carbs and got all 4 cylinders firing. I thought everything was perfect until i put it in first and got nice cyclical click coming from the transmission. haha.

Look out for my in the technical/repair section as ill be asking for advice as to whther this is somthing i should consider tackling my-self.

My ultimate plan is to convert it to a street fighter or cafe style mod. Basically one way or another the front cowling is coming off!

start off with a smaller post if it gets to long it may filter you out . you will need 5 posts before posting photos and links we have a fourm called Test Zone where you can try posting and uploading it is for testing what you can do.

if after 1 more post you have issues you can start a conversation with our moderators by clicking on inbox
