Hello from STL

    Thought I would do the proper thing and introduce myself. I own a '81 XJ750 Seca which is actually my 16 year old daughter's first bike. She took the MSF course and didn't want to chance any issues with one of my bikes so she requested a little assistance to get one for herself. I buy the bike, she pays for parts, we work on it together. She likes to remind my son that she is the son I never had. LOL.

    I've been on bikes for close to 30 years now time spent on Kaws, Yamahas, Suzukis, Triumphs, Buells, Harleys and even an Allstate 250 which is still in my garage. I have yet to own a Honda though. A Victory is in my not too distant future.

    I work part time for a motorcycle escort company so if anyone wants to know anything about any issues under any weather conditions with police Harleys, I can probably fill you in.

    Hope I can help someone out in the future.

    Welcome to the site. Its a good idea to put your location, bike info, and such in you profile so others can help without asking those questions. Not really familiar with the 750, but if you have drum brake on the rear you need to check for shoe de-lamination. Also look at the date code on the brake hoses. Their life is 4 years.
