Hey everyone, my name is Troy and I am new here to XJBikes.com. I also recently purchased my first XJ, which was also my first Yamaha. It's a 1993 Seca 2. I live in Chico, CA a smaller city north of Sacramento.

I got this 1993 as a project and have been diligently working on it for the past couple weeks. I am running into some carburetor problems but working them out as they arise. Sounds like it's a pretty common problem for these bikes. :)

Reason I got the XJ it was I hear they are rock solid once they are all tuned and running strong. I hope mine fits this category soon!

Thanks ahead of time for the help.

I posted a questions about turn signal light filaments in "XJ Modifications". Let me know if you can help me out! I look forward to chatting with you guys, See ya around.

WELCOME from TN! Excepting the carbs, I'll probably wear out before my XJ  ...
