help!! carbs question

    Hi guys i need some help..

    Recently i change my gas tank and putted a sporster gas tank on my xj 650 82' but in the third carb there was a air-out and a hose connected to the tank. Now that i have the new oneinstalled what should i do whit that? Sorry about my bad english and thanks

    I think you are referring to the vacuum port and the connection to the petcock on the original tank. If your new tank does not have a vacuum controlled petcock then you simply cap off the vacuum port. If you can't find a cap that fits, (look at the other carb vacuum ports) you can get by by simply plugging the vacuum hose with something like a golf tee or anything that will make it air tight. That should work until you can find a cap.
