HELP - Looking to Learn About Maxim Engine...

    I am new to motorbikes, and want to learn the basic workings of my '85 Maxim engine...that to say, I am very much a blank slate at this point! However, I am rubbish without images/pics in regards to tutorials; so in addition to the factory manual, I was wondering if anyone would recommend some sort of video or tutorial that would help walk me through the basics. Thanks guys.

    Poke around this site there are lots of great how to's with pictures. There is an amazing one on how to check/replace your valve clearances and shims. There are carb rebuild how to's etc. If there is something you are looking to do ask and someone can point you in the right direction. You can also use the search feature as well
