HELP!!! Need new carburetor

    Umm, just went out to the garage and my number 4 carb fell and busted the float post. Now my wonderful bike is dead again. Man, all I want to do is ride it. Does anyone have one carb that they would part with? It is from an '85 XJ700, air-cooled. Thanks in advance.

    So I have a #4 carb that had the same thing happen. I repaired it by using some stick aluminum, welding it to the carb, cutting it off and using my drill press to drill a hole in the exact position. It is TIG welded. Look for a welder that can do TIG and he can take care of you.

    If you don't want to do that. Send me your carb body and I will send you my cleaned repaired carb. I haven't used it yet because the bike its for is still tore down. Get one of those USPS fixed rate $5 boxes and the carb should fit. Pay the postage both ways and you got a deal. Let me know......
