Hi I’m new here so if been mentioned before sorry not sure how it works here. So I’ve got xj600s year 00 seems to have a oil circulation problem the sight glass has oil while running, I’ve changed oil pump, oil filter and fitments ,oil cooler and hoses and pick up strainer. I’m not riding it but sometimes it clears when cold but as warms up oil returns and stays in sight, so bikes not really useable I’m at wits end and close to putting it away and forgetting about it,so any help would be greatly appreciated ps everything I’ve changed hasn’t even been dirty

If your bike warms up, and then you let it sit on the center stand and cool, is the oil level sight glass filled up with oil or is the oil sitting between the 2 marks?
Maybe you are over filled with oil?
Its a common problem with people not letting the bike warm up and cool before reading the level then adding in too much oil. Running bike for short time from cold then looking at oil will yield a low measurement making you think you have to add oil.

When was last time you changed oil and filter?

Thanks for the reply. Oil sits under full mark if running or not it doesn’t disappear. Oil change done a week ago with new oil filter. I’m just stumped
