HELP Will Memphis Shades fork mount work on '82 XJ650 Maxim?

    OK I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out the following: I like the Memphis Shades "Big Shot" and "Alley Cat" Metric sportshields and want to buy one or the other (so any opinion on which of these is better is welcome as well).

    The look and Quality of these windshields are very nice. However, the '82 XJ650 Maxim is not listed as compatible. I very much like the quick release trigger FORK MOUNTS that can be purchased on these Memphis Shades Sportshields.

    Does anyone have one of these shields and does the fork mounting hardware work with a stock '82 XJ650 Maxim?? If so could you tell me which hardware to order along with the shield??

    Just hoping somebody has already been through this before I buy and return etc, etc. My 2nd choice is a Slipstreamer Spitfire (handle bar mount) which I know will work if I can't figure this out.
