    Greetings...

I am new to this community... but not new to online communities...

I have this bike sitting in my garage that has a lot of nice parts on it... I would love to get those parts to the people that can use them and get parts that I need as well... But this is where I could use some help...

I do not know what things are REALLY worth... I could go look on Ebay but many times the prices there are just out of line... in my opinion... so I do not want to overcharge someone... I want to charge a fair price to others in the community...

Any suggestions on how to come up with this "FAIR" price would be greatly appreciated... =)

    Thanx

    David

Only you know what they are worth to you.

You can check the prices of the items to buy new, then decide on a price from there.

    Example: Signals

One NEW turn signal will run from $80-$100/set
If the parts are pitted badly and you just want to clean out the shed - $10/set
If the parts are in good shape and you really don't care if you get rid of them or not - $25/set
If the parts are the originals and are in excellent condition and you include the stems - $40/set

    Less common items:
Let's say, a right side engine cover for an '81 550 Seca
In very good condition I've seen these go for $150
In very bad condition (cracked and missing emblem) I've seen them go for $30

Best option for these things would be to check Ebay and use the advanced search. Change your options to completed listings and see what they have actually sold for. It gives you a much better idea of what people are actually paying for these parts, instead of what they are listing them for.

You can also browse the Buy, Sell, Trade forum on here and see what others have decided to sell their parts for to other forum members.

Like tskaz says. plus look on ebay see what they are selling for get the average price and knock about 20 percent off and it will be a good deal for someone. Or if your going to sell it on here have people pm you offers that way you can see what they are worth and take the best offer without hurting anyones feelings
