So when vacuum syncing. Is it adjust one to two, then four to three, and then two to three and one goes with it?. Then adjust the idle number three for all?. I believe that I read this some place but could not locate it again. I find some mixed reports, then confused again.
    Thanks.

That is partially correct, you balance carbs one and two because they are in a pair, then you balance three and four because those are in a pair. Then you sync the two pairs together by adjusting the screw between carbs two and three. This does nothing to adjust the idle speed but it may have some effect on the idle while adjusting. Once they are synced, you can then adjust your idle speed with the idle adjustment knob.

OK so. it's one to two then four to three, then the screw between two and three for the two pairs, I feel so stupid, seems so simple right?. And they are balanced too.. three. I thought they where to match what three was already showing.

K-moe, thanks for the video. I believe I understand that part, just want to see the actual screw adjustments in the order they should be made. I see people saying one way then another. My bike is an 80 xj650. I guess seeing it wrote down would be helpful. Is that to crazy?. Any other info?.
    Thanks.

Ok. Then use the screw between 2 and 3 to balance the pairs. You guys really come through.

You will likely need to adjust the idle speed as you synch.
