    Hello everyone.

Just got my self an xj 600 2001 few months back but only few weeks ago passed my das so I can ride it now :D

Been told they are good bikes but had a few problems myself but nothing to bad yet.
Hope to get all running perfect for my first time on the motorway (legally this time and not by accident on a 125cc :(

    Thanks.

Welcome and good luck with the bike. Put up some pictures, curious if the euro version is very different than the stateside one.

    Hi thank you :)

My bike an xj 600 N 2001 diversion.
I would not know myself if there was any differences but here what mine look like.
Needs cleaning and few bits fixing like a crack in the side faring.

Been told it looks silly with the gunboot but I would rather have a firearm in a locked hard case then a soft case on my back.

The hardcase looks fine. I know a few people who have surfboard racks on their scooters. From what I remember (that bike was on my shortlist when new and I did a lot of shopping (ended up buying a used EX-500)) there weren't any significant differences in U.S. and Euro machines at that time.

How well does the flyscreen work on the motorway? I have a slighty taller one on my Seca, but am getting tired of the turbulance hitting the tippy-top of my helmet. I'm hoping that cutting it down a few inches will help.

I was meant to go on the motorway first time on Saturday but broken down before getting there lol.
But it should be good to give the satnav some cover from the wind/rain :)
