    Hi everyone :D , my name is Brendan , from Tasmania ( Australia ) have been riding road bikes for two decades and have bought my first Yamaha , a 1980 550 seca , this bike is a mess and I am thinking about seeing what I can do with it , have restored some old bikes before , this might be my biggest challenge

    Brendan, please post a picture of your bike! I thought 550 Secas were first produced in 1981. Were they release early in Australia?
