The highway pedals on my bike were intended for someone probably 6-8 inches shorter than me. Is there a way to extend them even further? I feel like I'd need them out about another 6-12 inches for maximum comfort, but it also might look ridiculous if the extend out much more than that.

The other thing I was thinking was to instead have the pedals go out towards the front wheel more (thus allowing me to extend my legs) but I'm not sure how practical / safe that is.

Picture attached, any advice is appreciated.

There are other clamp-on highway pegs out there that extend the peg distance forward. You just have to go shopping. None of them are XJ specific.
