There are a couple of videos on youtube. But, I found lots of info on this site. Use the search at the top of the page.

The best thing to have when rebuilding motorcycle carbs is a clean floor
    under where you are working.

Videos are nice, but as there as k-moe said, there are no good ones.

Go here for some really great info:
    http://www.xj4ever.com/downloads.html

The 6th link on the left hand side is "Replacing your Hitachi throttle shaft seals" It will launch a .pdf that I found INVALUABLE when rebuilding mine last week.

The document was put together by Len, who if you don't know already can get you anything you need XJ related. My carbs were slightly different, (I have over flows that his carbs did not) but everything else was pretty much the same.

It shows the basics of splitting the rack, dismantling and replacing throttle shaft seals and fuel rings. Cleaning "zestfully" should be a given. Go for the full rebuild kits... you're in there so you might as well do it the right way.

Take tons of pics before you remove things so you know how they go back... spring position and order is important.

    Good luck.
