    Hi,

Will Mikuni jets fit my Hitachi carbs ?

And if, does someone have a cross reference table with sizes ?

I have hitachi carbs which I want to tune but I only have Mikuni jets.

    Thanks

hatachi jets are measured in mm. Mikuni jets are measured in flow rate.

mikuni pilot jet is a totally different style compared to hatachi pilot jet.

why not purchase the correct jet to start with?

Hitachi FUEL jets are stamped with the mm size (i.e. a #120 jet = 1.20mm diameter, and #36.5 = 0.365mm diameter, etc.),

Hitachi AIR jets are stamped with numbers that have no such corresponding relation to their actual physical inlet size. It is probably an air volume flow "size".

Mikuni FUEL jet numbers are a measurement of the volume (cc’s of gasoline) that will flow thru the jet when poured in from a height of 50cm.

Mikuni AIR jets are stamped with numbers that have no such corresponding relation to their actual physical inlet size. Just like Hitachi jets, It is probably an air volume flow "size".
