So, I was late to work the other day and jumped on my bike and away I went. Got a block or 2 and noticed my back tire was flat. Luckily there was a gas station right there and I filled it up. Checked for where the leak was and........ nothing. That's strange. On the way to work I was racking my brain trying to figure this out. Light bulb. I parked it on the street and some a@*hole must have let the air out of my tire. The only explanation I could come up with. No leaks since then. Maybe I parked too close and they couldn't get to their trunk. Maybe someone thought it was funny. Or maybe someone in the neighborhood doesn't like how loud my bike is. I don't know. What I do know is, I'll ALWAYS check my tires before I get on now. Good luck to all and happy riding.

That is so uncool, if someone let the air out of your tires. Some people are just supreme A$$holes!

Wow - not nice! But you're probably right in that it's retaliation from one of your neighbors for straight pipes.

Two stories, Once I had my back tire on my ex500 go out on me while riding on an interstate. 75mph. Held it up and was fine.

You saying some people are a$$ holes is right on. I just bought a house and have moved into it. Well at the end of this month I have to have every thing out of the house I rent, so the rental agency has it back on the market. So this entire month people have been coming and going checking the place out. I HAD nice roses in pots in front of my house, but some one!!! desided that they wanted them more!

Good thing you caught it fast

I would place a bet that it was some disgruntled neighbor. There are some people in my neighborhood that would run a bike off the road every day if it was legal -- and for dumb reasons too, like it's "too loud" or "we ride too fast".

    Quick story, if I may:

My next door neighbor took a hammer to my tank about a month ago. It was probably midnight and I didn't realize it at the time, so I was revving and syncing and just having a jolly 'ol time. The garage was cracked so after I shut the bike off I hear her yelling profanities right outside. I invented a couple swear words and that was that.

The next evening, I went inside after working on the bike for a while, but I forgot to close the garage door. A couple hours must have passed, and before bed I always check to make sure the garage door is closed. After shrugging it off, I closed the door.

The next evening after coming home from work, I go to fiddle with the bike and there are two good whack marks in the tank. Not it-fell-off-and-bumped-something dents, it had the-claw-end-of-a-hammer dents.

Of course, I knew who it was, but the police couldn't do anything about it because there was no evidence. Figures. I suppose I just have two battle scars now. This is why I keep all my bikes in the garage and park my car at the street LOL.

I don't know man, I just got a dent. No air in the tires could have been real bad!

fill a condom with swimming pool shock, place it in a plastic container,
slide it under their gas tank, add 1/2 cup brake fluid (dot 3 or 4), move your cars out of the way

What I did at halloween was lean someones trash can (full of trash) against their house door and fill it with water from their own hose. Wait a few minutes, then ring the bell and run like hell.

Just a note on the subject. Years ago a friend of mine and myself had a Marine Corps web site up and one night when I was not on the internet a fellow Vet came in and was drunk and saying that everything in his life was going down the toilet, devorce ect. and that he might as well just blow his head off and be done with it. Well, the Vets on the site heard this and were concerned that he just might and so they used a program to find out where he lived and called the Police telling them that they were concerned that he might be thinking of comitting suicide. The Police went to his home and arrested him on a charge of Atempted suicide. He was just about to retire from the company he worked for-they fired him for being charged with attempted suicide. He lost his Pension! We live in a day and age where we need to think before we speak. 81'XJ 750 Yamaha SecaR, grunt007, Mi. You never know what can come out of things. The blast from what was talked about here I experienced first hand with my swimming pool a year ago. If I had the Chlorine float out of the pool when it happened I think it would have blown the side out of the pool. Very dangerous stuff to say the least.

Nothing to do with pool cleaner but many years ago I met a friend and a couple of girls at a local pub. We all went out in his car. Upon returning a couple of hours later I found my gear shift lever missing. It was only a small Honda so I put the bike into 3rd with the pliers from the tool kit and rode home.

I wasn't happy - especially as I knew who did it! Never could prove it though.

I've got a good story, it's made me consider getting a alarm for my bike.
I worked at a restaurant a couple years ago and rode my Honda there one nice day, parked it in the first parking spot. Well, I come out after I'm done and go to start it and it doesn't start. I look down and see a big dent in the asphalt and my kick stand was bent. Then I see my bar end mirror laying by my bike. Then I walk over to the other side and see that my front fender is jacked, exhaust all scraped up, foot pegs bent. Here this C word that usually parked in that spot backed over my bike with her trailblazer. Even though my helmet and jacket were hung up NO ONE told me all day the manager helped her try to cover it up by getting my bike back up and when she saw that no one came out right away went and took the note with her insurance information off the bike. So I tried to call her and she kept sending me to her voicemail, I ended up having to file a police report for a hit and run and get the popo involved to get her to give me her insurance. They didn't do anything other than take the report (I thought leaving an accident without your insurance was bad) and I even sent an email to the restaurant office saying how the manager helped this lady cover up my bike being hit. They ended up emailing HIM instead of doing anything about it. So thankfully I got about $700 from her insurance and they didn't total my bike but what an ordeal. But yeah if I had an alarm on my bike and sounds like you guys too it would have saved a lot of hassel.

I keep my bike in the garage ALL the time! To many A&^*($% out there who think screwing up you ride is funny. Now I live near Port Dover Ontario on one of the main touring roads for M/C riders. This road is busy from the spring when the bikes first come out till the snow flies.I mean hundreds of bike on any given weekend and dozens during the week.

We have a neighbor who hates M/C's. When he first moved in his trick on Friday the 13th was to get in his car and pull out in front of the bikes as they came down the road!!! It only took one call to the OPP to put a stop to it. He still hates M/C riders with a passion. And nobody knows why.

    Thats bad man!

AND WTF, went to my rental to get more stuff today and clean a little. MORE OF MY PLANTS ARE GONE!!! I found some of my extra pots in my garage, wrote a nice note, stuck a fake camera in the window near the room that faces the flower bed, and left the nice pot in front of the window. I also informed the people next door, whom I know wouldn't do that ,about what was going on. I have always tried to be good to my neighbors. Never had a problem with them. Even made sure my motorcycles weren't to loud, did free computer work for them..... They obviously do not live directly next door to me... Must be down the rode.

All this neighbor talk frustrates me. In our new house we have met two of them... I hope no one gives us trouble.

I was thinking it would be funny to sneak over in the middle of the night and start replacing them. Until he was knee deep in plants :)

Since I was renting I kept my roses in pots. The rest of the othere plants are planted. This way I can bring them with me to my new place when I bought it. .... they even took one of the dead roses, I guess for the pot.. idk. It is agervating. I was leaving them for last.. Would have never guessed some one would take them.. Oh well, in a new house that is OWNEd now. SPeaking of plants I just planted a bunch of new palms, and plants today!!
