horns wanted

    hey all i'm in need of the two stock horns. i bought a set via ebay and ofcourse they don't work. i know its not my wiring cuz my old horns work but are dying. so anyone have any i can get from ya that work?

    sometimes if you turn the little screw with the lock nut in the center of the horn you can bring them back to life

    Ditch the stock horns, and get yourself one of these:
    Stebel Nautilus Compact Dual-Tone horn

    They're rated at 139db, and just larger than a pack of cards. I've heard these things - amazing - painfully loud if you're too close or in an enclosed area - sounds like a mix between a classic full-size american car and a semi truck. You just need to install a relay to run it - but boy it's worth it.

    I agree with Altus, these are great
    You can also find them at your local auto parts store, they come black or chrome. I put them on all my bikes. Just be sure that you have good connections in the horn wiring and run a piece of tubing from the air inlet to under the tank so it won't suck water into the horn.

    Or get a pair of Freeway Blasters for $17.99. They are just what they say they will "BLAST" when you hit the horn button! I got a pair at Checker Auto but I'm sure they have them at auto stores all over.
