how do i rebuild my front forks

    can anyone tell me where i can get a rebuild kit for my front forks or if you eaven can rebuild them they are very smooshy sorry only word i could think of..

    thank you guys and i have a xj 700 air cooled

    You "rebuild" them if they're leaking oil.

    If they're too soft, you need to remove and measure the springs against the specified length. If they're sagged out (likely) then you replace the springs. If the seals aren't leaking or "weeping" there's no urgent need to "rebuild" the forks.

    You can "speed up" or "slow down" the action by varying the weight of fork oil you run.
