With everyone's help I got the caliper piston and caliper bore clean and back together, thanks. One thing that did happen is the caliper piston ended up crooked. While I was reinstalling the caliper piston and it was half way in I checked it and looked like it was going in even, when it was almost all the way in I checked and it looked like it was still going in even. When I was done it was off. Am I up the creek? What can I do? I tried using a block of wood and a hammer but that didn't work. It's about 1/16" maybe slightly more, less than 1/8". Will the hydraulic pressure of the brake fluid help straighten it when I remount it to the fork and get it all bleed?
    :x

oooooohhh that dont sound good, the only thing i could suggest is to try and remove the piston, check for damage, then reinsert.

Put a block of wood where the pads go and use compressed air into the hydraulic hose opening. The piston will come out with FORCE so be very careful. If that doesn't work try heating the caliper with a paint stripper heat gun and try it again. (but don't get it so hot you melt stuff and strip the paint)

Use fresh brake fluid when you put it back together for lubrication and rotate the piston as you insert it.

I got into the same situation and this worked for me.

I've used compressed air successfully on several calipers. One though, wouldn't come out with air so I pumped grease from a grease gun into the bleed nipple and that worked. Used a lot of grease and had a lot of grease to clean up but it worked.

Just put it together as normal and pump the brakes.
