So, I've been looking at the thermal switch on my Maxim trying to figure out how to get it out and come up empty. Spent a lot of time researching on the internet and on this site too. Even the manual just says "remove the thermal switch" with no explanation. There is very little room to get a socket in there and impossible to get a deep socket in there because the frame gets in the way. A regular socket gets hung up by the spade terminals and can't fit over the nut. Do I have to remove the whole thermostat housing? Even that looks daunting and I've got a fair bit of wrenching under my belt. Tried to upload a couple pictures but couldn't for some reason.
Hoping someone here has a solution.
    Thanks!
