Just curious what kind of miles everyone puts on their bikes in a week.

I rode to work every day last week (45 miles each way), then some around town. 500 miles in 5 days. Saving a ton of $ on gas by riding the bike instead of driving the truck.

All three of us go to the same part of town - so no bike commuting for me... not unless I go seperately or they stay home.

I will probably commute a few times on the cbr to get some saddle time in :D

    Round trip is about 60km...

My daily commute is about 100KMs (~65miles) total. My bike uses 1/2 the gas of my current car. I usually ride 3-4 days a week.

Just last week I picked up my winter beater 97 Corolla. It should get similar fuel mileage as the XJ. So the winter ride will be easier on the wallet this year

I ride 7 miles to work. I am home for lunch right now so I make that trip 4 times a day. That makes 28 miles a day times 5 = 140 miles.

My ride is 12 miles each way so that's 24 miles a day or 120 miles a week. I ride any day that the weather permits. Since February, I have ridden abut 4000 miles though, so apparently I ride more on weekends than I thought.

I ride too intermittently to be able to gauge my mileage. I'm a disgrace to the brotherhood but I rarely have a machine operable when I want it to be. The FZR went down yesterday out in the fast lane on HWY 101 in Camarillo. This happens every time I lend a vehicle to my brother and this time was no different. Sigh, I'll get back to work (lucky buggers, all riding and here I am wrenching, again).

It's been years since I've ridden the bike to work but I plan to start up again tomorrow - if the weather cooperates. I don't typically fear melting in rain, mind you, it's jsut been a while since I've ridden - wet or dry - so I'll take it easy getting back into it.

Anyway, my commute is about 25 miles each way. That works out to about 75% rural highway, 25% intersection traffic by time.

My ride to work is around 21 miles one way, 42 total per day, times that by 4 days so Id say 168 miles per week, not counting the times I just go and ride.

Just hit 2500 Miles this week.

I got to ride in this morning - man, I've missed that bike. One thing I didn't fully consider is that I work at a fairly large site and I AM the IT department. I sure hope I don't have to be moving any servers around ;)

It all depends on the weather. I dont have any rain gear, so if it looks like any sign of rain that day, I wont ride in. When I do, the commute is about 20 miles one-way. It's not that bad, just wish the direct route was better than the 2 major highways I have to go on :(

My commute is 210km's a day 5 days a week, I average about 2 days a week on the bike. I'd like to ride more, but i need the trunk space more often then not.

Since I live in sunny Florida I ride to work every day, 80 miles there and back. that's 800 miles a week. I ride year round. When i got the Max last November it had 34,000 miles on it, last week it flipped the50,000 mile mark.
All in all the best bike I have ever owned. Does anyone ride farther?

I ride 32 miles each way to work and back, total 64 miles a day.
I can only ride about 3-4 months of the year due to weather though that's why it's called the White Mountains, at least I can save some.

I ride 32 miles a day, and used to get three days on a full tank before switching to reserve (2-1/2 gallons), but my new tank gets me 135 miles (3-1/2 gallons) before switching to reserve. I figure I get 40 - 45 mpg depending on how fast I ride. 55mph gets the best (45mpg), and if I creap up to 60-65mph I get around 40mpg. My Bonneville gets 20-25mpg, so I ride the bike as often as possible all year 'round. Not only because of the mpg, but because it's the greatest stress reliever I know of!

Sigh. When it's running, about 20-24 miles a day. By one route, my commute is only ten miles, but for some reason, on the bike I tend to take the longer twelve mile route. Go figure.
