How fast have you gone on your xj, and gotten caught?

I see the thread with how fast everyone rides and I myself like to throw my feet on the passenger pegs and see what she has got. So i was curious if any of you guys have been busted playing around.

I was on a back road at night and had a car fly up on me at twice my speed. I assumed he was a drunk driver and took off. Got onto the main road and the "drunk" pulls me over. It was a cop. I explained what I thought and how him approaching so quickly made me fear for my safety. I wasn't speeding at all before he was feet from my tail end. Gave me a ticket for 60 in a 35. Ouch. Lawyer had it dropped to invalid parking... $275.00 later.

170 km/h in a 60 zone about 29 years ago, times have changed now I'd be locked up, in my defense I was on my 'L' plates and carrying an illegal passenger.
Drag racing a Chrysler panel van,I got lucky he got bundled into the cop car so he must have been wanted and I was just the rubbish in the net.
Sitting at the lights reving the bike and felt my eyes go big as the police car did a handbrake turn in front to block the road.
"How fast were you going?" the copper asked
    "Oh about a hundred"I say
"Bullshit we've been chasing you for 10Kms"
    "Oh"
Tip for young players, Use your Mirrors.
And yep same as ElkHavenSeca 4 lane rd, middle of the night and I was 19ish in a semi rural area.

I'm in Ontario Canada late 1960's, 16 years old, and did over 100 on a little Honda CB 350F. My first bike, it was brand new. Normally you didn't get pulled over at that time unless you went through town at high speed at night. Which I did, cost me a whole $50 dollars. Cop owned a bike and he fined me for 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. Was doing 60 over!!

Never been busted on a motorcycle...(can you hear that sound I'm knocking on wood), but when I was 18 my Grammy had just died and she was way cool-bad time to ride I'm sure, but I was in Oklahoma on a very straight back road near some industrial stacks and hit close to 140mph on a 750VFR around 2am. Believe me when I say things approach really fast at that speed and the wind will pull you straight off if you let it.

On the 550 I've been over 110mph (on a track), 95mph on streets but only briefly and rarely. :)
