How I know the model of my bike?

    Here the thing I need 4 carbs joint for my 1985 MAXIM XJ700, the trick is ... checking websites that people in this forum sent me I found that this carbs joints change in part number and shape from model to model.... or at least is what I saw...so far the carbs joints for a XJ700N are not the same than for a XJ700NC or XJ700S...so How I know what model I own?
    Title (from N.Y. )does not say and I didn't find any labels beside the ones with the engine numbers...Thanks guys...
