    I paid $950 for mine that was already a good runner. I'd offer $650, but be prepared to give the $850 if your brother really wants the bike. The sller will probably haggle some since he has it priced just above the old $1/cc rule of thumb.

    I also see original brake lines, and that points to needing a full brake system rebuild as well as new lines. Check the date codes on the tires. Also look for cracks in the intake boots.


    Ask the seller if he has the fairing. The mounting bracket is attached in his photo. Ask casually, because that bracket has a fair amount of value on it's own.

    I paid 750 for mine, similar condition except it ran solid. Just needed to redo the front brakes, it also needed tires.

    Gotta love it when someone tries to sell a bike using a photo with a flat tire. Assume the worst and shoot for $1/cc, no more.
