I decided to do a mock up of a new exhaust on my 400maxim, I removed the gas tank, I disconected the battery, unplugged the ignition coil , and still managed to fry it .
Lesson learned remove the coil completly off of the bike when welding anything to the frame. the coil is grounded on the bike . Im such a retard. good thing I have a box of spare parts , I see those buggers go for over 200$.

Be smart ,dont be a retard.
