How to secure battery cables to terminals?

    Yep, noob question for sure...My 1992 XJ600S wouldnt start today. It made a clicking noise so I thought it was the battery. The only thing securing the cables to the battery was a bolt coming in from the top of the terminal. Didnt have a nut on the underside at all. I found a nut that fits the bolt but the nut doesnt fit inside the terminal. What kind of battery connector do yall have.

    You lost a rectangular nut that fits inside the box of the terminal.
    Maybe a friendly motorcycle shop has them laying around, or a battery recycler ??

    When ya find one, put some plasticine next to it....drives ya crazy when they fall around all over the place!!
