Pulled the carbs returning bike to stock. I am not sure if the main jets are stock. How can I tell thanks.

Compare what's in there to what the manual says should be there. Don't have a service manual? Might want to get one.

    Aircooled engine or watercooled?

Ohhhhhh, okay. Thought it was a documentation issue.

If the jets on the Mikuni carbs don't follow the convention of "number means fractions of a millimeter", then I honestly wouldn't know what to suggest, except to either hope that some other Maxim-X owners on here chime in (you might want to stick your bike info in your signature, BTW), or get ahold of "HAP" -- Harald A Pfeiffer, the owner of the Maxim-X site.
