    Well folks, this is my first post on here but I've been picking up tons of info from here and it has helped me out so very much! My bike is an 83 550 maxim and i use it for my daily rider for my 40 mile trip to work. This is the first bike I've ever sat on. I bought it for $500 and rode off. It was in very poor shape but thanks to you fine folks I've just finished my last big project on it and she's running like a champ. I'm pretty good with a wrench and welder but when it came to anything on 2 wheels I felt like a toddler in pre med.

    Anyway I'll stop blabbing and end it in a huge thank you to everyone on this site. You all have helped me, my wife, and my 9 kids make ends meet.
