    Hello and thanks first off.

I have been glued to this site for a couple of days now. Don't know how I had missplaced the address for so long. I registered last year some time and somehow this site got lost with all the others. I am sure you know how that goes. With the riding season getting in full swing a little early in my area I got on the internet and somehow found it again.

I have owned my XJ for 4 years now, and I put well over half of the miles my bike currently has on her in that time. She was a garage sitter for 5 years before I rescued her from someone's ex-wife. :) The PO did the jetting and header addon. My XJ is happy as ever to be riding again, just needing her new tires and valves readjusted as usual to go full time again.

Nothing much compares to givin the guy on his new big cc cruiser a look at only my license plate or holdin my own against the local BikerBoyz in the curves. Especially when they find out the bike is older than more than half of them... I just love my Maxim.. hahaha

I'm lookin forward to learnin much and helpin out if/when I can.

Thanks again for all the valuable info I have found here so far. Making my ridin a lot less headache as far as the maintenance department goes.

Congrats on your ride. They are good bikes for sure. Mine sat in a shed for 4-5 years and the guy who I bought it from couldn't figure out why it started so hard. When I explained to him what all had to be done to get it running right and back on the road safely....he sold it to me for $300. Some guys just don't like to get a little dirt under their fingernails and guys like us benefit by it!!
