I want to put an aftermarket signal on but it only has one hole on the bottom of it to bolt it to the bike. Now is there a way to create a bracket and does anyone have one created their pictures of. Or can I cut the OEM speedometer and tachometer I have in half and just have the speedo. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated and if anyone knows the ratio for the speedometer and appreciate that.

Don't cut the stock gauge pod. you'll have a huge hole in one side and a ruined part that someone may need.

The ratio is 2240:60 (2240 RPM is 60 MPH). Mikes XS and Chacal both sell single-can speedometers with brackets that may work for you. Otherwise having a bracket maed is as simple as building a template from card stock and handing it to someone at a machine shop, or your local high school vocational program.

If you want to keep the factory speedo, shoot me a PM. I collected a bunch of 650 clusters during my resto. I have a couple broken ones that would allow to to keep the single factory speedo without cutting up your good original parts.. You'd still need a way to mount it though.

Now that I'm in the garage and looking, it would probably look like crap since the chrome bucket and bezel would be missing a chunk on the side.

I assume you're talking about speedo - what kind are you trying to attach?

If you've removed the original unit you'll have noticed that all the display lights come with it. Do you have a plan to replace those. I used two mini-gauges, the speedo one has integrated display lights.

You can mount a single hole gauge to the original brackets on the tree without a fabricated bracket - I did this and I wrote up a how-to on it here a while back:
