I've been given this. It's been stolen dumped in a Canal, recovered and left outside for fifteen years.I had to go to Birmingham to get it.When I got It out of the Van I thought "Oh S**T".It a Suzuki 750ES,not a Katana like it says on the Tank. The more observant among you might notice the Epithet on the Bike "Full Floater" It obviously didnt.

Ermmm,It's got the front end of the Earlier 750E model, the Tank is rotten, the wrong wheels, and the Carbs arent looking too clever. My Brother in law really likes it,so He wants to make it a joint project.Thats the new build XJ900 project on the back burner then.

I'm not thinking in money terms, like any of Us ,you start out with a Dream,if you do the money is irrelevant,You have made something unique that Nobody else has,you cant go into a Shop and Buy one, thats what makes it stand out from the Crowd.

Give it a good clean, drop some oil down into the cylinders (only a little), see if you can turn the engine by hand and then hook up a battery and see what the situation is with the electrics. Basically find out what works, what doesn't and go from there. I wouldn't try starting it until I'd properly gone through the engine, carbs and dumped the canal silt from the air-box.

Looks like a good project though.

I've got a 750 that was underwater for 1 day sat for a month before being given to me drained the fluids dropped oil in the bores turned it over quite a few times couldn't get it to fire came back a week later, seized.
    I gave up.
If you do persevere I have a Suzuki factory manual for it [I had one 20 years ago] just pm me and I'll scan whatever you need'
