    for my '86 FZ600 motor.. Which is apparently the SAME yama part # ( 58.50 mm standard bore) as the '84 to '92 : FJ 600 , XJ 600 and YX 600 Radian.
    Dealers want a wee bit too much for my budget for the things imo.
    ANY suggestions as to other sources?

    Charcal has them cheaper than the local dealer. I found that out *after* I had bought from the dealership. :(

    Yess tried Chacal fRST... XJ4 ever? He said he only carries XJ bits
    I would have thought that an XJ600 err.. 'qualifies'
    More than an odd response IMO. Perhaps he does not yet know that other Yama bikes use the same engine?? Time will tell... hopefully
