Ideas to hide electronics on xj650 hardtail

    Ok.. I have see a few ideas for hiding the electronics by the battery... but I need more directly from you guys... help ideas please!!

    I would mock up the rear first, put the battery in and see how much space is left. That will be a big determination about the electronics box.
    One of the members here made a octagon shaped box and put the regulator on the end to vent. That's another consideration heat build up, you'll want to vent but not let water in.

    Find a Harley oil tank with battery holder. Gut the tank and relocate electronics into tank.

    Thinner ammo boxes are also an idea. I have a few of those, will probably utilize one of 'em on my build. :)

    Just be sure that the voltage regulator gets plenty of air moving over it. Pushing a bike home sucks.
