Ignition coils compatibility

    I'm currently working on a 1988 fix 600 and I know it very similar to the xjs. I was curious on the interchangeability of ignition coils. New one that fit my bike are like 200 per that say they fit. But I was wondering if I bought a decent brand with the same ohm output and put the right connector on them if they would work the same.
