Ignitor Praise!

I got another Ignitor from ebay in the mail to day, pluged it in and all four plugs fired away! previously i had only one coil firing and the book says the only way to deduce that the ignitor is the problem is to make sure everything else is fine. well thats a little nerve racking, but i was pretty sure it had to be the ignitor (even though id just bought one from ebay, and it was partially working)...so i got another, and it works, and im stoked. On to tuning and the other problems that im sure will arise. thanks for you help guys.

Did you try to take your old Ignitor apart to look for problems ?

my jawa is doing the same

new jets new gaskets new battery
cleaned carb decarbonized pipes and heads
and still dont work fine!

the thing is it was working before!!
next ill put new rings and if not new cdi! ;roll:

 

Glad to here that you nailed it. Keep the old one and see if you can't refresh it or coax it back to life. I'd be curious to see if you can or not. Post your results, I'll be looking for them. Get to riding now! Regards.
