Hello, I recently decided to equip my bike with turn signals. I got the rears on and working, cancellation unit and all. For the fronts I can make some kind of plug/adapter to mount my new one on, but It looks like in order to remove the cover-plate, the lower pinch-bolt on the forks must be loosened. I'm worried about losing my tension on the steering bearing. Is this a concern? If so is there an easy way to reset it? Also there is a rigid threaded metal tube in the opening, is this original?

The steering bearings aren't in any way connected to the fork pinch bolts. You can remove the ones that also hold the turn signal mounts without any concern, so long as you only remove those and none of the other pinch bolts on the triple tree.
