    have a 81 seca 750. speedo and tach work but mileage gauge is not working. what could it be? thanks

    Odds are pretty good you have a few broken plastic gears in your speedo (got one or two myself). Source another unit and keep going.
    I've yet to find a shop that will take Japanese speedos for repair.

    Seca odo gear is metal. Mine was stripped and irreperable. X2 for Robert's solution.

    thanks guy's. sushi you are right metal gear which is stripped out. funny because i unbolted the panel so i could drill my holes bigger for my riser's i bought and it worked great before that. put it back together and it didnt work. switched speedo with one from maxim just have half a stick to tell me how fast im going.
