Haven't had a street bike in 15 years. Just wondering what XJ owners pay for insurance.

I pay $120 a year for my Maxim and it'll be just under $300 a year when I have the Katana ready to ride. Earlier this year I test rode a zx-10r and was going to buy it until I talked to my insurance company, $4300 a year... I'm a 26 year old male.

My insurance was just under 2k a year for a zx12r in 2001 through 2003 the bike was an 01. And I was 26 at the time. Have you had your license for a while? Great bike miss it lots,,,,, but lots of close calls and many point of no return when it came to speed just get to a certain speed and just want to go faster on it so decided to go cruiser mostly. And it was the original go green or go home lol colour.

$97 per year when with Oppressive(the lizard guys). For $50k/$100K liability. Bought BMW and the rat btards wanted almost $850 for full coverage including side car. Found policy with Foremost Insurance for same coverage at just over $250 /year for same coverage. Maxim? Just add another $79 for liability. See ya later lizard!!!

BTW, to get this rate I had to pay $19 for an AARP membership. No accidents/tickets for YEARS.

Annual registration is about $40 or just a little less.

Sometimes it's good to be an old geezer!

You poor guys in Canada need to rise up and stop these insane registration/insurance fees! Ours used to be the same until the peasants stood up on their hind legs and told the state government no more ridiculous fees. The state, county, and local governments were supposed to fail as a result of the decreased registration fees. They're all still here!

If I'm not mistaken part of the BC registration fee covers health insurance in case of an accident? Get ready guys if this BS healthcare plan gets passed in the US. They'll get us somewhere!
