Below is what i have came up with to over come the cracked rubber boots . Any options are welcome. i have not made a full set at the moment there is just one. The way i plan on setting carbs is sliding them close as possible to the alumium tube and cutting excess silicon. The clamps i plan on using are a one bolt style used in coupling engine piping for turboed cars. By the way all parts can be found on ebay cheaply. Thanks 20171014_044827.jpg 20171014_044627.jpg 20171014_044602.jpg

How do you plan on addressing the different intake angles? The carb outlets are not the same distances apart as the head intakes.

Reason for having a long silicon coupler i should be able to pull and turn each coupler to fit. The offset of each intake is not alot but its there and will add up. My main reason for this design was to couple cbr itbs for a efi conversion them having a closer ratio to the head itself. But decided why not try a coupler for stock carbs aswell ...

My concern is the lip that will occur on both end that may cause unwanted turbulence. At low engine revs not an issue but at 5000 and above will be a problem .

Once i get all 4 done i am thinking of doing a flow test with cheap ebay sensors ... also i am going to port match best i can. I have concern for turbulence but wont know till i get there.
