In the 550 book, they're called "Carburetor joint and Cylinder head" and the spec is 7.2 ft/lb; but I'd double check for your bike.

I just looked this up for a 550 owner, and the way I found it was to look for "8" in the '"Q'ty" column in the torque spec chart.

Remember that the English language versions of the books were produced by English-speaking Japanese translators; it does get interesting at times.

    Found in Chacal's catalog:

OEM and reproduction INTAKE MANIFOLD MOUNTING BOLTS, both original and reproduction mounting bolts perfectly replace your originals. It's not a bad idea, at all, to replace these bolts whenever you change your manifolds. Use 2 bolts per manifold; fits all XJ-series engines 550 - 1100cc. Torque specification is 7.5 foot-pounds. And please be sure to use anti-seize fluid when installing these bolts!!!!

Also, found these bolts for the intake manifold at Abba Bolts in El Cajon, CA....they 6mm X 1MM X 20MM ....standard thread...box of 100...for only $6.00.....tensile strength 178,000.....what a deal......at that cost...they can be replaced at will.....
