I have a '82 maxim 650. My commute to work has speeds of 45 to 65 mph. The higher speed ( 65mph) is only for about 10 min. Most of the 30 min ride is 55mph. the bike tends to "rattle the teeth" a little bit at 60 mph. Are the speeds that I will be going acceptable for the 650's ? Thanks for the input!

yes not a problem - there is a resonant vibration at about 60 mph on the 650s - Mine does it too. I just go a little faster or slower.

just remember a vibration at 60 will happen again at 120, so keep it at about 119 and you should have no problems! :)
